Michael Okum aka "MadWolfMike" is a Visual Artist / Filmmaker and Video Creator.

Born in New Jersey in 1979 – Michael earned his BFA in Fine Art from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia in 2002.

Having relocated to California for over a decade – Michael earned his MFA in Filmmaking from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena in 2010.

In 2015 Michael completed a years-long passion project as writer / editor / producer / director – the feature film Expressway To Your Skull – a Psychedelic Horror-Thriller.

Michael's creative work explores the overlapping areas between Fine Art / Painting / Illustration / Filmmaking / Video creation and editing. Visually his work is seeking the interconnected realms of Surrealism / Dreams and Nightmares / Symbolism / Visionary Art and Psychedelia.

His work has been shown in galleries in multiple cities across the U. S. and his films have been featured in a variety of film festivals.

Despite living with a Chronic Health condition since 2020 Michael is still as driven as ever to devote as much of his time and creative energy to his work as possible.

He currently lives and works in New Jersey.
